LSx & cruise control questions
If running a throttle by wire setup, does the PCM that controls the fuel injection itself run the cruise or is that a separate module? If the PCM DOES control it, will the controls in my 86 Monte work to control it in the LSx PCM?

If you get a pre 07 truck ecu with TAC module, it should work fine. There are problems with some 05+ vette and GTOs where there's no TAC. The BCM is also required and I dont know anyone who has got this to work.
The ecu, TAC, and DBW TB run the cruise control. If your Monte controls are a 4 wire with normally open set and accel switches, they will run it.
