Matte Black

In looking to redo my engine bay a lot of guys have said to do some matte black on the inner fenders, firewall, rad support............



My question is how durable is it? Will it clean with out looking like crap after? My inners are powder coated black now and scratch real easy and look horrible now.

I am looking for something easy to clean and hold up in looks, as well as maybe something I can do myself.
