      Tips for removing wiper arms

I am taking apart my 69 nova and I have to take the cowl off, is there a reasonable way to take off the wiper arms without buying the $10 tool from summit?

      Thanks,
      Andrew

I spent an hour with various other pry tools trying to get the wiper blades off without damaging anything, and no luck. It took me about a minute to pop them both off with the correct wiper arm tool. It chaps my ass a bit to buy a tool that I'm probably going to only use once or twice, but it was worth it for only $10.

buy the tool. you will like yourself so much better when you remove the wipers with out scratching paint and installation is a snap too.

Snap-on A192 i think is the part number.

maybe the local parts store that sells wiper blades has one for you to use? Did you think of that?
