Door adjustment.........?
I've got a 69 camaro and the drivers door is tilted back, i'm not sure which hinge I need to loosen to correct this promblem. the pins and bushings are in good shape so I know its not that. The front of the door needs to come down maybe 1/4. Any tips..?

I would slack both off but very slight just so that door can be moved if you have a big strong friend then get him to move the door so that the hinges will still keep the door in postion after adjustments, and you can open the door and retighten them.

I never loosen both hinges if the door is close. Here is how you decide. If the lower gap along the rocker edge is correct at the front of the door, and if the lower gap at the bottom quarter edge is correct, use a floor jack under the door with a rag or old buffing pad to protect the door. Put the jack near the back of the door with the door open 6 inches or so. Put gentle pressure on the door with the jack and loosen the upper. Raise the door to just a tick past correct. You can lean on it a bit then and remove any slack in the frame so it wont settle later.

Also, keep in mind, that if the door is gutted and the windows, door panels, regulators, etc are out, you need to adjust a tick high to compensate for the weight when you install the door guts.
