      Front suspension noises

Lately the front suspension, has been making some squeaking noises.
I think that it is the upper spring seat, making noises on where it hits the shock tower.

I was going to try spraying with white grease. (the top portion of this spring is shrouded by a hard rubber spring seat)

Any of you guys have this problem?

during bounce or turning? turning bounce?

remember not to blast the whole thing, do one part at a time and test after you spray. i like to use a lighter oil (silicon spray) to get into the tight spots. also heavy grease and lube will collect dirt...makes noises worst. .

if you can have a larger assistant bounce the car or turn the wheel while you poke around with a stethoscope or long rubber tube. find the spot before you attack.

Only places that ever made noise for me were when the end bolts on the cross shafts for the upper control arms started working their way out and the bushings started to slide. Loctite fixed that. That and the sway bar frame bushings make some noise every once in a while till I put a little silcone greese on them. Everything is polygraphite.
