      New member 1964 Chevelle

Hi. My name is Milan, and I live in South Carolina. I've had this chevelle for about 6 years, now. I've finally overcome the urge to keep it original. I want to drive it and maybe even do the local autocross. I've seen a lot of fantastic builds here already. I have a wife with an eagle eye and a baby on the way, so I don't have the budget some do, but I do want to make my car more fun, safer, and easy to drive anywhere. I want it to go fast, but I want it to turn and stop, too. haha! I've always done my own maintenance and repairs, but steering/braking/suspension upgrades are new to me. I figured this is the best place to learn. Thanks!

I meant to give some details about the car and forgot! It has the original 283 and about 110k miles. I replaced the 3 speed saginaw with a muncie m20. It has an msd 6a, blaster coil and pro billet distrubutor. Also has an edelbrocker performer intake and carb. I have a small summit cam in the garage for it, too. It still has manual drums all around and manual steering.
