Introducing a new shop in southeast Tn, Lightnin Rods

Well, actually we have been open a year. We have been building cars as a hobby since high school, but lets not talk about how long ago thats been! Our shop specializes in Powder Coating, Ceramic Coating, and LSx swaps.

      www.lightninrods.com

We did a ton of coating on Jason Shells' Super Chevy Cover car.

We are dealers for several companies and picking up more all the time. Here is what we have so far:

Schwartz Performance (One of their first dealers! Watch our eBay store for some crazy prices on chassis. http://stores.ebay.com/Lightnin-Rods
      MBM Brakes
      Keisler
      PSI Wiring
      JZ Motor Works

So far we have 2 completed LSx swaps on the road and are almost done with a sweet frame off 68 Malibu.

Here is the build thread on Dave's car, those at RTTH will remember it.

Give us a try, we are working hard on building our reputation as great shop. We do what we say, when we say with no BS.

Hahaa! The old flat bed Ford is competely original low miles. We freshened the motor and did a full powder coating detail job on it. Looks better than it did new!

The tractor was a complete restoration. It was pretty beat before we started. Of course every piece that could possibly be powder coated was (well over 100). Now it's being used to bushhog the back field.

      Hey Chris...

It's Rick & Kristi...We lived in Cleveland from 1997 - 2003. You did a bunch of powdercoating for us back then, including some parts we still use. It's great to see you and Davey on here, and we wish you the best with the business.

These days, we are busy with this:

Hey guys, great to here from you! Chris and I were talking about you not to long ago wondering what you were up to. I'm suprised we haven't bumped into each other at any car events lately. Send me a PM, would love to become a Metco dealer. I'm still running the upper and lower rear contols arms on my Chevelle.

Congrats, we like to go up to the Copperhill area and raft/kayak. Last time I was in the area there were a lot of promising cars on the local craigslist.
