      Turbo Regal Project

I've made the first step in the makeover of my 87 T type, a car I've owned for over 20 years. It's had a bunch of bolt ons over the years but nothing major in the way of performance.
Stock suspension, stock long block and turbo with a good fuel system and nice tranny.
It's gone 12.02 in the quarter mile with this set up and has over 100k miles now.
Heres a pic of the car as it sits

The plan is to slam the suspension and upgrade the braking system, then finish it off with new wheels and tires. That's all I am able to (not) afford to do with it right now.

Here is the car I'm using as a role model, a very sexy looking Grand National.

The car is at the local hot rod shop getting some rust repairs and a frame notch.
In the mean time I'm going to figure out the parts list and get things ordered.

I'll update this thread as any progress is made with the build, but right now I have a lot of decisions to make. The goal is to have it back on the road 6 months, give or take.

I've always loved GNs. Throw some nice 18s all around and full suspension and it'll rock. You also need some nice race seats, maybe with the GN upholstery? I'd throw in some nice autometer gauges too. I always hated the stock dash.
