      FNG from Biloxi

This is my new (ahem) project. It's a Grabber Blue 2011 Mustang GT Standard 6-speed. It's pretty much a no-option street brawler, since the only two options on the entire car are a 3.55 rear and the Brembo brake/19" rim/Pirelli P Zero tire package. The only work I've done to the car so far is exhaust, so it sounds right at least.

To come: there's a lot of wheelhop under acceleration (especially in first, some in second), so I need to control the rear axle windup; there's a lot of dive and squat in the car, so there's some suspension tuning work to be done as well, either shocks/springs or coilovers.

No plans to do anything else yet, since everything else is pretty well right where it needs to be...

Wasn't sure about the color myself - I had to drive seven hours to find one with the exact options (and price) I wanted, and this just happened to be the color it was. It has totally grown on me, though, so now I wouldn't have one any other color.

Do you have a red hat and shorts you wear when driving the car around? I'll bet Smurfette loves it! :P

Sure do! It gives me the extra leg room required to flintstone my car up and down the driveway! What did you drive prior to the baby blue beast? oh yeah... nothing as fast as my ole truck! LOL It's not my fault I had to jump into the new project car but at least I was consistant w/ the speed of things.. If I never let the ole lady drive this would be a much shorter conversation!

LOL!!! You can't flintstone the car up and down the driveway until you actually have rims that will fit over your pizza-pan discs!!!

Did you get a thread started in the "Project Updates" section yet? You need to post more pics.

I guess I could do "Project Update" but my good picture is already my avatar! LOL You're forcing my hand to take some more pics... I don't wanta give away all my build secrets though. Lets face facts, I might be the only 68 Camaro w/ an LS swap on this site.... ;)

Yeah, you need more and better pictures, at least since your project is moving and mine is static...

Holy crap!!! You're building a '68 Camaro with an LS, a T56, and a Ford 9"?!? What a novel idea! ROFL!!! I think the 196X Camaro with an LS builds are like belly buttons on here. Not that it's a bad combo, otherwise it wouldn't be so common. In our locale it's still a rare beast though, or at least it will be.

I used to live in Bay Saint Louis and was in NAPA one day. I was driving my Jetta but this guy was talking about my Cuda to the counter guy. At this time I was driving around town and to work out Stennis Space Center (the NASA facility on MS/LA line) with no hood.
He said it had a hemi and a turbo, blah, blah, blah. It has a stroked small block and centrifugal supercharger. I just stood there listening and laughing to myself. Now that was a rare bird around those parts.

Yeah, you need a build thread with photos. And you need to include the history as well. Why do you have an LS engine laying around in your garage anyway?

Nothing better than the local pedestrian auto parts store to find the automotive geniuses, LOL!!!

Thanks! Your Falcon is a really cool project. Can't wait to see it in color!!! The drivetrain/suspension are awesome - once paint is done, that will be an entirely different bird!!!
