      What mods?

Interested in everyones opinion and if this has already been posted I apologize (new to site). What mods (engine, suspension, electrical, ac, chassis, paint, "anything") do you regret doing and what mods do you think were the best bang for the buck?

      best - tires

worst - I'm actually pretty happy with the way everything turned out. I did get ripped off on my cylinder heads and intake manifold. Shop around and take your time before buying.

not really a worst I can say, but just make sure what you buy works first, because the worst is buying twice. SO the worst maybe a 3 speed tranny. You should atleast get a 4 speed or 5 or 6. Gears make a hell of a difference

I'm not done with mine yet, but I really regret the front suspension I have. My intentions for the car have changed from daily-driver to weekend toy since I started building. If I had to start over I would have gone with some more serious spindles and much better brakes. Eventually I'll be swapping everything out but what I've already got will have to do for now. Like Randal says, buying stuff twice sucks!

The best decision I made on the project would have to be upgrading to the T-56....the original plan was a 700r4!

My worst was probably the black fuzzy dice. Salesman said it would make my car faster but it didnt.

The Best so far would be the Kore3 C5 brakes and Vintage Wheel Works rims. Big improvement!

Best mods were to give up on the lowrider idea. Worst was to have started with the lowrider idea, and to not have enough to do the car all at once or at least on a steady basis cause by the time I got around to installing some stuff I wished it was a better one or a new style had surfaced that I liked better. The biggest worst I had was to not build the car first then teardown and paint/detail it so I knew everything it right.

Best - brake and suspension improvements. Been doing this to my cars since the late 60's.
Worst - Overbuilding by not having clear goals and understanding of how a car will be used.

Use "mods" and "regret" in the search function, it's already been posted.

Best - Tires . Good tires really make a difference in control , handling , braking and ride comfort.

Close 2nd - 5 speed ( or a good overdrive) transmission. This really makes the car driveable on trips. and helps with some gas mileage.
