      New Posts

Is it just me or has the algorithm for the "New Posts" button changed? I used to just get the most recent posts--last couple days I'm getting up to 10 pages of posts from recent posts up to 2 days old!?

I did make a change that I think is for the better but it requires you to use the "What's new" and the "Mark forums read" buttons.

I can change it back if everyone wants but so far it's been working really well for me.

Wow, so you're saying we have to literally mark the threads as read for them to not show up as new? That sounds like a real PITA. Please tell me I misunderstood you.

You either have to read it or mark it as read. Simple as that.

The thing I always hated with the original way was it was also time based and I hated that it would mark a thread as read even if I had not.

Never mind. I just changed it back to the way it was. It works so much better but oh well.

      Thanks Larry!

Look at it this way: your audience consists of (primarily) guys that want old cars with (at least) todays performance. What else did you expect from this conservative bunch??? ;-)
