      Wheel Stud Length

I am installing LS1 brakes on my 1966 nova.

I will be getting Billet specialties SLG60 or Intro V-Rod wheels (havent decided which ones)

I need to know what length wheel studs are required for these wheels?

How far past the face of the disc should the wheel stud stick out in order to properly secure the rim?

I dont want to have to pull my rear end back apart later in order to install new studs.

      Please help

      Thanks

Hard to say! You have to factor in the existing stud length and the pad thickness on the wheel. Mount your wheel on hub measure lowest part of the wheel conical lug area to end of stud, then transfer measurement to lug nut and see how much more you can go. BEWARE!!!! I have seen guys change studs and tighten the lug nut thinking the wheel is tight and whats happening the lug nut is bottomed out on the stud...
