Carpet tips and tricks?

I have never liked the way my carpet fit in my car. It was a Camaro specific cut pile kit from one of the vendors my interior guy uses.

I have noticed that the DSE cars always have nice looking carpet. Tight and smooth and it fits very well. I asked Stacy about it when I saw her at Goodguys Chicagoland. She said they did a lot of prep work with the Dynamat prior to carpeting. I should have asked her to clarify what she meant.



How do I achieve that nice look? I assume lots of high quality glue is one thing.
