      First gear selection

350 Olds small block, approx 425hp with shift point somewhere around 6,000 rpm. Upgrading to hydro roller cam this winter, should rev real nice.

95% street car, but will see some 1/4 mile duty and possibly autocross too.

3.90 gears with 27" tire. I had my mind set on the TKO-600, and now considering the RS-600 (once more info is available). Now I see the T45RS, but I'm at the power capacity of that trans, so I could never make any more power without upgrading the trans too... Although the price is great.

      EDIT

Looks like I'll be going with the Keisler RS-5speed, so I'll be picking between these...

      Standard Ratio Gearset - 3.37, 1.99, 1.34, 1.0, .67 (1.38 step change in 1st, 33% RPM drop in overdrive)
      RS400 (400 torque): 1-1/16 x 10 spline input shaft, SAE 8620 nickel-moly steel alloy
RS500 (500 torque): 1-1/8 x 26 spline input shaft, SAE 9310 chrome-nickel-moly high strength steel alloy, CNC ground gears

      Close Ratio Gearset (new)- 2.80, 1.99, 1.34, 1.0, .67 (.81 step change in 1st, 33% drop in overdrive)
RS600 (600 torque): 1-1/8 x 26 spline input shaft, SAE 9310 chrome-nickel-moly high strength steel alloy, CNC ground gears
