g- body 350 ?
I just picked up my 82 regal today. It has a v6 with a rod knock. My question is, a local guy is selling a chevy 350/turbo350 set up for $450. The engine code is CKM which is only 170 HP. This is a budget build so I will not be rebuilding it. Can you do any thing to this motor to jump up the HP with just say a cam intake carb ECT. that would be worth the time and money? Or should i just pass and wait for some thing else to come around? I am just looking for a fun street car. thanks Jake

170 hp 350? The Monte SS came with a 305 with 180 hp from the factory & it was a dog. Not knowing the compression/heads etc it is hard to say what to do to give it more HP.
