      interchangeable gaskets

I have an 850 BG mighty demon on which I decided to change the metering block and bowl gaskets. After changing the gaskets and touching nothing else I now have gas pouring out of the primary boosters as soon as it starts up. It was running fine before I changed the gaskets. I used Holley gaskets , number 108912 for the metering blocks and 108832 for the bowls.

I thought gaskets were interchangeable between Holley and BG. Am I wrong? It has to be the gaskets, everything is untouched including the float levels.

The gaskets are interchangeable. Make sure thay are oriented correctly....but my first inclination would be to check your needle valve and seat for some foreign matter. This is why I dumped my BG carb. I always had the secondaries doing this to me.
      Good luck!

Turns out I did have the wrong holley gaskets, they were for 4150 and 4165 carbs. It works fine with the BG gaskets.
