      6 speed

Hi, I am looking to install a 6 speed in my 67 camaro. It has a twin turboed 355 in it now with carb so it is not an ls motor. What kind of tranny do i need to look for and what all parts are necessary to make this work correctly. It currently has an auto in it now, but does have a hole in the firewall where a clutch pedal or something was at one time. Any help on this is appreciated. Thanks

I would get a t56 thats rated for your power level. Stay away from the richmond 6 speed it will break.

The richmond will only take 450 ft/lbs. I broke 4th gear and the mainshaft twice. I have sticky tires also. I just sold it for parts and will be installing the richmond super street 5 speed tonite or tomorrow.
