What's The Length
what's the length of a stock 1968 Camaro rear end from backing plate to backing plate?

I know you said backing plate to backing plate, but why that dimension? The leafs are 42 7/16" and the 4-bolt flanges should be 54.25" apart. Axle to axle face is 61", although I've measured some at 61.25".

Thanks. I am not sure what rear end is in my car, I know it's not the original. So now I need to find a factory length one so I can order my wheels and brake up grades...
