Not meaning to hijack the thread, but a guy building similiar types of cars in the UK

OK, so how does one go about doing a deal like this? Buy a modern unibody car on the cheap, hack to body off, cut the floor out of the shell you'll use, and paste the two together after you lengthen /shorten the wheelbase?
