      Pro-Touring.com is back

It's a little after midnight and I am turning the site back on for a soft opening. There is a lot still to do but since the traffic is low I thought I would test it out. Some time on Friday I will need to shut it down for a few more hours.

      LOL!

The look will change and more features will be added one by one. I would hope 90% of it will be done by the end of the weekend.

It seems to be working well. I'm not really sure what I think of the look. I'm sure I will get used to it from a functionality stand point. The colors are a bit much for me. I feel like when I diving I'm about 50 feet under water and everything has a blue/grey cast to it. I would prefer the more crisp look of a color scheme with more contrast.

All-in-all, I'm glad to see that PT.com is keeping up with the latest and greatest!

Anybody notice that the site seems sluggish? I can easily type faster than the characters show up in the Quick Reply window.

Or is it my local issue?

The board was really moving this morning when I first opened it up...before the ads loaded. But I can't out type it like I could on the old board.

I did receive a high server load e-mail a while ago. The hosting company might still be working on the server and it slowed it down for a bit?
