ls guys Help!
I'm working on a 64 lemans i was going to put a sbc in it because i have tons of parts but.so now i have been looking into the LS world so if you guys could help a guy out. thanks JIM

Jim,
What's your goal with the car? Are you wanting a nice street cruiser or something more radical? As for the 427 with a 6.0L iron block, how were you planning to get to those cubes? It would take a 4.06" bore/4.125" stroke setup, and 4.06" will be getting thin on cylinder walls. We've done it once on one of our own personal engines, but before I ordered any custom pistons I would have the cylinders bored out and checked for thickness first. You could easily get to a 421 cid LQ9 with a 4.03" bore/4.125" stroke setup.
