very cool, I wanted to get up there this year but we had to be somewhere else.
what kind of rules (speed limit, passing, etc) do they impose on you to drive on the track?

I did that two years in a row with a Camaro show that was up that way. Once we ran on just the Nascar track. Then we were there on a SCCA weekend and got to run the infield road coarse that also used most of the Nascar track. It was a blast. They told us no passing. I would build up a big gap and then take off with a string of Camaros behind me. They did not like me doing 125 on the back strech. If their eyes could burn I would have been smoking.

I wish Good Guys would raise the year limit at Pocono like some of the other places. My 1973 misses it by one year. They have lots of room left yet. I would really like try try that autocross course.

I agree 2 of my friends have 73 trans ams and they gave us problems at the rhinebeck GG show so they didnt wind up coming to the Pocono.

I agree guys... How do they expect to grow the car hobby and get more attendence if they keep the 72 cut off.. We dont want to open the flood gates but my 73 chevelle is 37 years old....in NJ 25 is considered a classic... its time for an update! Lets start a petition to get this rolling... maybe Mary Pozzi could back us up... after all she wins tons of GG autocross events with a 73 camaro... Alot of other places have opened things up to 75 and older... Maybe they should consider chassis generations (ex: 70-81 camaro, 73-77 chevelle, 70-74 Challenger)...or even pre-catalytic converter... anything! haha... They are missing out on alot of nice cars and diehard car guys...
