      64 pontiac updates

      Well i have gotten a chance to work on this a few hrs. on friday.
      Before

      After moving frame rails over 4"
      Welded up the factory frame joints.
      Layed out the front a arm's
      So making progress. I'm going to try to get the front all cut apart and boxed in this week then i can make all the front controle arm mounts. Rear end will dbe here next week then i can build the torque arm. thanks for looking Jim

      Keep the pics coming. Love the 64's too. I just finished my 64 lemans sedan. My 64 GTO conv. is on the list, maybe next.

      what did you do with your trim around the windows and the post?
      I was thinking about cutting the post out and making it a hard top.

      I just left the post trim just gave it a polishing, its not in the best of shape but its what I could afford at the time. I have a 67 tempest sedan that I was thinking I would like to remove the trim and clean up the frames and just paint them but not sure how much work I would get myself into. If you make yours a hardtop I would love to see how you do it maybe I would do that on my 67. Here are a couple pics. Still need to finish and modify a few things but its close.

      Thanks, it was my first complete build. I did everything on it, only thing I paid someone to do was the alignment.

      Post some pics of your 64 when you get a chance.
