      October Camaro Performers

I have been like a 7 year old waiting for Christmas for the last couple of months waiting for the October issue to come out. I picked up three copies the other day when the newsstand called me and told me it was in. The girl at the counter said, "let me guess, you or someone you know is in there." Like a proud papa I opened it up to show her.

Many thanks to Nick and Steve for giving my 67 a six page feature. Rob McGaffin was great to work with, driving an hour to do our final shots and meeting me at oh dark-thirty on a rainy 34 degree late October Wisconsin morning. Ro McGonegal wrote a heck of a story without ever speaking to me, or I did a heck of a job filling out my tech sheet, one of the two. lol. There are a couple of small inaccuracies but other than that, I think it reads great.

      Thanks again guys!

      Jeff

      Congrats Jeff.. well done!

And there's also coverage of the MotorState Challenge in there, which means lots of PT members in print.

Like our own little newsletter.. lol

Lastly I would like to point out that in this issue we welcome Mary Pozzi to the staff of Camaro Performers with her new one page section where she can ramble on about whatever she pleases.

It will only be a problem if she writes while driving..

      Steve....

Is it in "Camaro Perfomers" charter to cover 5 Gens? As most know GMHTP is mostly oriented to drag racing and I'm looking for a mag that will cover 5 Gens from "our" perspective.

Congrats, Jeff! I also cleaned out the local book store's rack (which unfortunately consisted of only 1 copy) yesterday. My IROC is sitting at the top of page 10.
      Weekend projects aren't.

      Jeff,

Your car looks fabulous...you should be quite proud.

Another excellent CP issue,I think it's the best to date...but then again I said that about the last one too.

Loved the beautiful 2nd Gen on the cover and of course Mary's column...

We cover all gen Camaros.. from first to fifth.

Heck, we just did a 10 part build on a 2010 SS and we TRY to have 2010 tech in each issue.

In a perfect world we would have 5 tech stories and 5 features in each issue cover all the gens, but there's not enough room so it fluctuates. That said, first gens are our largest readership but we cover them all.

Get a subscription and I will try to get you a few back issues.

Steve...^ That could easily change, I'll be there are more 5th gens on the road than registered 1st gens. I think I will subscribe since I'm thinking of ordering a 5th gen in the spring and I'm looking for a magazine that features upgrades other than turbos and meth kits.

      Thanks,

It's another great issue. Congrats to everyone involved! I'm glad to see Mary in the issue. Now she can go with me to the writers track day where we get to drive all the brand new cars on the road course.

The car features and event coverage were awesome. It is kind of like our own club newsletter. Nick and staff are doing a great job.

Stay tuned, we'll be showing fifth-gens from a handling aspect, not just drag racing.
