C5 rear diff adapter for drive shaft

Sent an email to hot rod jim about an adapter he made for a c5 rear diff so that all the c5 rear suspension and diff can be used and mount a yoke for a drive shaft . He said this adapter should have the bugs worked out and be ready for sale late this year . The reason for this post is it changes my plans for rear suspension the c5 vette stuff is world class and can be purchased complete minus trans for 1500 to 2000 $ . Not to mention the visual appeal so i will be planning my chassis around this . He also mentioned maybe building a universal rear subframe for this swap . http://hrjinc.com/projects_shop.php

      Yes its on pt-57

I was on his site and asked if he was putting it into production . The vette suspension is nice but the trans in back and torque tube eats up a lot of room in car trans tunnel and so on .Its a great idea . Copy and paste below of email from hotrodjiminc

I'm in the process of doing the final testing and getting my patten work in order. Once I'm happy with that and I have the per patten application in place then I'll be able to sell them. Looking to be in the 995.00 with all the little goodies for the front and rear mounts on the diff. I should be ready to go in the 4th quarter. . I should have narrowed CV's to go with them at that point if you doing something odd ball narrow with the C5/C6 stuff.

      Thanks again
