1971 Pro Ride Camaro And Goodguys

If you didn't hear before Route 66 Motorsports built a 1971 Camaro powered by a LS2 motor and a 4L80E automatic transmission - the first show this one of a kind ride went to was the Hot Rod Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our 1971 Camaro won the Mighty Muscle Pick sponsored by Billet Specialties and was featured in the Goodguys Goodtimes Gazette. We would not have been able to win this award with out the amazing products from so many great companies. Heidts, Boze Alloys, Auto Meter, Willwood, and more - their products helped make our ride look one of a kind and preform above the rest.

How do you like the Heidts rear setup? I am tempted to go that direction from the price, but I haven't seen enough evidence that it is competitive on an Autocross track. I have also delayed because by the time I am ready to do the rear suspension (1.5-2 years from now), who knows what will be available for second gens.

The Heidts setup is great and very competitive on or off the track and it is fully adjustable. Our system is very up to date. My thoughts are that the only difference will be the price. As the price of manufacturing and parts go up with time. Lets say in 5 years you would like a different system or upgrade, our system is a complete bolt on, so it can be easily removed.
