      68 camaro ignition wiring help

      Hi,
Heres my dilema. I bought a new ignition switch and on the back of it the plugs are in a round shape so Im assuming a round plug goes there however my harness under the dash has a rectangle plug.

Is there some sort of harness that I am missing that goes between to allow the rectangle plug to attach to the round plug?

      Im lost. Thanks

Sounds like a universal switch. not a factory /OE switch. What does the one you too out look like?

Heres what an original 68 ignition switch looks like from the back side. If yours does not look like this you have a universal or the wrong one. It should plug right in. No extra wiring between the switch and harness.
