I figured before I went drastic and welded the fittings in, I would try the ORB fittings. There's a hydraulic hose shop near me that sells Aeroquip fittings and they had steel -12 AN/12 ORB fittings in stock. I stopped by after work today and bought them.
As soon as I started to thread the new fittings in it was obvious I had it right this time!
Shxt happens I guess, but on the bright side, no more oil leak!
And a big thanks to you guys for making me look at alternatives to what I was doing!
Now if I can figure out why the engine isn't running right... but that's a different thread in the EFI section!
