'65 Mustang From Calgary - Howdy!

Hello Pro-Touring community! I've always loved this site and I think it's time to introduce myself and more importantly my car.

It's a '65 that I bought in high school -way back in 1983 in Glen Rock, New Jersey. Through the years, it's assumed many different looks but this is my favourite.

      The stats:

      Ford 331 stroker 8.65:1 comp - 612 HP (flywheel)
      Paxton Supercharger 9 lbs boost
      Mass Flo EFI
      Full Air-Ride
Mini tubbed with 18x9's front 20x10's rear
      215/445/r18 and 295/30/r20's
      G-Force T-5 trans
      Currie 31 spline Ford 9"
4-wheel late model Cobra disc brakes
      Viper red

I look forward to contributing as much as I can to this board.

      Best Regards,

      Steve K

Beautiful car! I love it. One question, what does the GT585 refer to? Rear wheel horsepower? And please, more pics?

Thank you for the kind remarks.

      Here's the engine bay:

The 'gt-585' was a pre-dyno estimate before the 612hp came in.

      Hi Rob,

Wheels are Bullit replicas. I purchased them from americanmuscle.com
the rear's are for the 2005+ Mustang with 7.4" BS. The fronts were 18x9's that I had narrowed to 18x7. Original BS was 5.94" - now it's 3.94"

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?

Great car. I have always liked the 1969 and earlier mustangs. Glad to see friends from north of the border. I visited Banff and Lake Louise when I was a kid back in the early 80's. Does anyone in the area promote any road trips including the Baff and Lake Louise? Any local cruise spots in Calgary? Im looking forward to visiting sometime soon.
