      Aussie 69 camaro

Hi everyone i bought this car a few months ago and have been continuing the build since. I firstly upgraded the seats with a pair of ve calias seats (pontiac g8 style), I then got a hump style armrest from classic industries and sum new door trims from ebay. I have put sum billet stuff on the column and replaced the small intro wheelwith a factory style comfort wheel.
I bought a so called Bolt On disc brake upgrade from a supplier here in Oz Called Hoppers Stoppers, My reasoning for this is because i niavely thought that if i did have a problem that at least i could just call them or worst case drive down to see them. Well i bought a 330mm twin piston front brake upgrade kit and this went on OK even though the pads sat a little proud of the rotor 3-4mm and i had to space the caliper bracket out differently side to side. The car stopped fanastically well and straight.
I kept it like that for a few weeks and then today i decided to upgrade the rear drums to discs. Well what a dissapointment ican only get 3 of the bolt holes to line up i rang the supplier and he statted that i might have the wrong caliper bracket and could i bring it down to check. I thought Ok and drove the 30 odd kays to the shop to be told that i should just drill out the holes a bit bigger and that this would allow me to rotate it around enough to be Ok!!!!!
Now i might be a perfectionist but afti might sell their kit and er i told that that seemed a bit dodgy to me he then said that i should just leave it at 3 bolts and she will be right!!!! To say that i am unimpressed is a understatement. I have put the car together good enought to get it home and i might sell their kit and import a kit from the states as i reckon that i might get something that is actually Bolt On! What do you guys think am i just being a bit prescious?
Thanks for giving me a place to vent my frustrations !! Can any one recommend a good disc swap for my car?
      Cheers Tony

Mate welcome and jump on Kore3.com. Talk to these guys and they will help you out, mention the forum. There are many kits advertised on here as well. Hoppers stuff is crap full stop.

      regards Tim
