6.2 l92
ok found a sweet deal on a 17k 6.2 out of an escalade...think i may jump on this, put in a cam, fast intake, etc...it does not have a puter and I am going to use a painless harness, my question is do I have to use the drive by wire or can I use a cable(appropiate throttle body)..I have a tremac 5 speed, non hydro throw out bearing...did I see somewhere a bell housing that will adapt this?

If it's the stock throttle body...it will be drive by wire. If you want to run drive by cable, just get a different throttle body. Just make sure that when you get the wiring harness, you have the same set up as the harness as some use dbw and some use dbc. As for a bell housing, just get a bell housing that is for the LS motors. I went with a LS scattershield on mine...fit without any issues.
