Which carb should I be using?
Hows it going guys? I have a question for you guys I currently have a this holley >> http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-0-80457S/
and this Edelbrock >> http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-1405/
the holley needs to be rebuilt the edelbrock doesnt..Now I need to use one of these as a temp for my truck, with a pretty well built 355. It was dyno'd at 430hp with an Holley 850 double pumper which my dad "accidentally" sold for $600 with my old 350 along with Brand new ceramic coated headers that a friend gave me.
Now which carb do you think would be better for now, the holley has a vac-sec and the edelbrock is air valve(same thing?) What do you think is the better choice till I buy another better Holley or a Demon havent decited yet the motor will go into my cutlass when i get my T56, so my next carb has to be good for auto-x
Can one of you carb gurus please chime in here!

I would just go ahead and invest in a new carb, read the article in the September 2010 issue of Poular Hot Rodding, pages 76-79, these guys build great carbs and are reasonably priced. Ask for Bob Vrbancic (Ver-Ban-Sick) and tell him that Dale E. told you to call, he's a great guy.
