can I pull enough air from under my cat to properly cool it in a rear mounted radiator setup?

My old truck used a rear mounted setup, it was angled with the top laid back a bit and positioned so that as the air came off the top of the cab, it "fell" into the radiator.

most modern cars are "bottom feeders"

that is why removing the air dam on a 3rd gen camaro makes it over heat.

that "builds up" air in front of it,
      (the radiator)

and creates a low pressure behind it, and sucks air thru the radiator.

you would just have to control the air flow.

and don't forget to set your electric fan temp HIGHER than your road temp,
drive down the road, see what the temp is,
then when idling, set the fans to come on ~10 degrees higher or so.

or else, electric fans can cause to "stall" in front of them (say you are doing 45mph, and the fan blows at 35mph, the fan is now blocking the air)

      rear mounted radiator

So I need to build way of redirecting the air like a bottom feeder would? Thanks for the info on the fan. Should my stock water pump have a problem moving the coolant?

you will need an inline electric pump or two depending on distance it needs to travel.
