      RHS cylinder heads

I just saw a set of sbc aluminum cylinder heads that the guy said he just bought from RHS. Have any of you guys seen these heads? Do you know of any flow numbers? They are 62cc chamber, 200cc runner with 202 160 valves. The outside looks kind of funky but the ports look pretty clean. And they are cheap.

Dont quote me but it seems I heard RHS was either bought out or went belly up quite a while back. They used to be a premier supplier back in the day but I havent heard anything about them in years.

Comp Cams bought RHS out several years back. They were right next door to each other and RHS`s business was starting to take a nose dive back in the mid 90`s while Comp Cams was increasing. CC bought them out and used RHS`s building space. I don`t know if RHS kept the rights to all their machining and stuff, but I just heard recently that COMP Cams is bringing the RHS stuff back. I guess CC is working on trying to take on more markets just as Holley did. RHS had some really great products back in their day, so I guess we`ll just have to see if the new stuff can hold up to it`s name.

I believe that Comp Cams is bringing the RHS name back with the pro topline designs.

Yes. Comp Cams owns the rights to the RHS name and the product line formerly known as Pro Topline. The Racing Head Sercive thing is just a way of attaching an established brand name to the product line.

My homie Kevin Feeney, a fellow World/Dart refugee will be heading up the deal. Expect great things and best of luck to Kevin.

Sounds good. I just bought a set. They look good. Pick them up later this week. I still have to choose a cam for them.

      Scottyz,
Did you buy them locally, or mail order them?

I'm in Lindsay, about 60k. north east of Oshawa.
I was wondering how the price of the heads compared with mail order. It's been my experience that even after currency exchange and shipping, it's a little cheaper to mail order. It would be nice to find someone near by who has competitive prices.
