      started school today

Well, I got my bachelor's degree in Entrenepreneurship and Strategic Management about 5 years ago and went to work instituting lean logistics in distribution centers.

Fast forward to "the great recession" and I did what many would consider COMPLETELY STUPID - quit my job.

I am now 33 and finally think I know what I want to be when I grow up! A Mechanic. Quit my job to return to school for the local CC's Comprehensive Automotive Program.

1 year from now, I'll be through with the school and well into a job with a company-any company that will have me. 3 years from now the goal is to have stared my own shop.

I am totally excited about the change and felt like sharing

I started school today also to finish up my BSME. My Calc II teacher is from Hungary and taught in the Soviet Union in 1951... FML.

Seriously, best of luck on your new endeavors. Doing what makes you happy, IS doing what's "right".
