      Hood Hinges

      Hello

I hope I explain this the right way.
Adjusting the hood hinges so the back of the hood goes down without having to push the corner where the hinges are down?
This is on a 68 Chevelle Fiberglass hood, stock hinges. Also having same problem with a 72 El Camino & 70 Nova.

Is there some trick to setting hinges?
The corners by the hinges don't go all the way down when I shut the hood. I have to push each side down for the hood to lay flat.
      Any suggestions?

      Thanks
      Rob

Sounds a lot like the hinges are worn.

Thanks alot. I'm going to give this a try. Hopefully I can get it right.

I have all new hinges. I was debating on buying DSE Billet hinges, To see if it made a difference.

      Thanks again
