Muscle Cars Take Over Times Square

I'm 100% sure this was staged, but still pretty cool

Nice. Love the fact that they had a 3rd gen Nova, too.

Cool Video. It actually wasnt staged, from what I was told. I am from Long Island, and those are a few guys that are in the "under ground racing scene" so to speak. There are a number of other videos that take place in Manhattan if you search you tube.

Saturday I spent some time looking at vids it's something I do frequently but I saw this in no relation to cars but was stunned by this cop riding his bike. WTH not trying to steal your thread the burnouts downtown are cool.

I had a young guy do a burn out right in front of me doing paper work in his new trailblazer SS he said his tire pressure was low I almost fell out laughing i couldn't keep a straight face. gave him a warning because it was a good burn out lol

I'm surprised they didn't get picked up for a "terrorist act"!

I was thinking the same thing... always thought it was jammed up all the time with Taxi's everywhere cluttering it up.

I agree. I am about 20 minutes from that exact spot. But usually those guys go out at like 4am during the week. Who knows, but it was well worth it for the vid.

pre 9/11 NYC was a way different world.... and this vid looks old. times square is always busy.. however if you caught it on a holiday weekend when the sun is coming up you could've made this happen. most people are too busy to care about someone doing a burnout any way ...lol

Sunday early am is pretty slow. Been there a few times on Sunday am and it's probably the only quiet time, if you can call it that, in NYC. LOL

I replied to that video with unstaged burnouts across Piccadilly Circus, Nelsons Column at Trafalgar Square and Lamborghini Knightsbridge. Got load of views but I had my lap top stolen and all my Youtube videos wiped out......! I won't be doing it again as CCTV security in the UK is now really tight!!

Well maybe just one big smokey burnout in front of Buckingham Palace!!
