      lt1 or ls1 rear disc

      hi guys, i have a question my friend has rear discs from a lt1 camaro he will sell me for cheap. how much different is the stoping power between the ls and lt rears?

      Hi Vince,
      Well the LT1's are cheaper and easier to install but the difference is in the park brake really, the LS1's are better for park brake turns. Other than that I see no braking difference.

      the biggest difference to me is the fact that you can still run a 15" wheel over the LT1 rears (read drag slicks for the track) where as the LS1's require you to purchase expensive Bogart/convopro wheels or grind the outter parts of the caliper to fit a 15"..........
