ls1 6 speed reverse switch location?

I have installed an 02 ls1 with the factory 6 speed, can anyone tell me where I hook up to, to get the reverse signal that will activate the reverse lights. do i have to install a manual trigger switch on the top of the tranny or is there a signal output some where?? maybe something from the computer?? thanks

It is located on the pass side in the middle.
