      hey all

hi, about time i stopped sifting through this place looking for pictures of badass cars and introduce myself.

i'm in wellington new zealand, work as a concept designer at weta workshop, and own a 73 barracuda i plan to turn into a 70s trans-am styled streetfighter race car.

here's some pics of the car. small block 4 speed. i clock up about 7k plus a year mileage, lots of big roadtrips through our awesome country.

      the plan is:
basically a '70s transam car with 650hp small block (440ci), 4 speed, hotchkis suspension, with the car as low as i can feasibly get it. and electric exhaust cuttouts with dumps behind the front wheel.

it'll have custom fiberglass fenders and quarters, with a big flare to the guards and cut arches, maybe small custom bolt on flares...
and the fattest 15" tires i can find. which if i can't find any wide enough with the right profile, then i'll go to 17" reluctantly. the tires will be pushed out to the limit of the arches

computer designed roll cage and body panels.

i'll be setting the car up to be fully recordable.
quick-release camera mounting points in the car, and microphones permanently mounted. so i can hit record remotely and record high def footage.

here's some concepts for the build:

      cheers!
