      Kwik Performance ac bracket LS1

Just installed my Kwik Performance ac relocating bracket for an 02 LS1 into a 65 GTO- Talk about a great product- Well made, clear directions and looks great- Install took about 35 minutes. One of the few products I have bought for this project that needed ZERO modification to install- thanks Kwik Perf

Should I assume this allows you to run the rest of the stock drive accessories for an LS???

yes, it will allow you to run stock components. Some guys have used the stock location for the compressor, but it requires notching your frame.

I think the kwik performance piece looks great! Thanks for posting.

Yeah, thats what I figured. I know on F bodies that the frame notch is necessary. I honestly haven't been digging a ton on the little bits and pieces available for LS swaps, but this is a nice little piece. I am not a huge fan of the frame notch (doesn't look super serviceable to me) and this saves buying an aftermarket drive setup.

      I like it!!!

What are you running on the other side accessories? Did you run The factory GTO brackets? I have been looking at the Kwik stuff but not sure if I like the position of their alternator power steering set up?

I am running the stock alt +power steering set up off of the LS1- it is a little tight but there is enough clearance- I did have to replace the steering rag joint with a u-joint but other than that nothing else
