      enclosing in your trunk....

      ok so i have been wanting to do this for years and i have seen quite a few cars that have this done and it is the next thing on my to do list. i have some questions for those who have done this. what materials are yall using to fasten everything in place. are you making the panels out of wood. any help and or pics would be appreciated

      I made mine out of wood. Mine basically wedge in.

      Made mine out of heavy interior pressed board stuff that's normally used for things like door panels, and upholstery on top of that. Front and sides wedge in, back has two screws to secure it.

      cardboard will be a huge help when designing these. More specs on what you're ultimately trying to accomplish would be great... ie just closing up the trunk to make it look neat, or something super custom with a sub enclosure, battery mounting etc.

      well i have a custom box with 2 10's pushed all the way to the rear seat and my battery box is on the passenger side but i dont need a full custom look just a neat way to enclose the sides and the back area around the tail pan.

      Bryan you and I are on the same misson, first the dash then the console and now the trunk. I plan on doing the same thing soon. Maybe I'll get them both done this fall.

      im hoping to have this trunk done in a few weeks i need my car on the rd i just had a baby and cant spend anymore money on this thing i basicaly have all my parts now its jut the small detail work and then paint

      We use aluminum so it can bent to fit and not warp
