      LS1 Rear brake Wheel Clearance?

I am looking to convert to the LS1 Rear brakes with ebrake, and am wondering what the wheel clearance is on them? I want to run my stock 15" Ralleye rims on my second gen Trans Am. Will they fit?

      Thanks,
      Ryan

Won't fit. You can find some 16's that will squeeze over them, but 17's to be safe. Size-wise they are very similar to the 1997+ C5 rear disc kits, just with a deeper rotor offset.

The 98-up S10 Blazer rear discs will work with most 15" wheels and are similar to the LS1 brakes, just a little smaller rotor. You will need the 2wd rotors but can use the 2wd or 4wd backing plates/caliper mounts. There is more info on this on nastyz28.com, but I couldn't get the site to load right now.

That was why I asked, because I knew that the s10 rear disk conversion would fit under 15".

      Thanks guys,
