      1966 Chevy II build

Well a little back ground on my newest project. I purchased this 66 while on leave from Afghanistan. It came with a sweet 383 stroker motor and a built 350 transmission. Floors and trunk were solid so I feel the $7k was worth it. Anyway, I took 30 days of leave and flew back hom to Cerritos, CA to install a full TCI suspension and try to get the car ready for the body shop. There was a few hang ups but, I pretty much got everything I wanted to get done. I had two friends and my Dad giving me a hand on the heavy lifting, which was a huge help. Not bad for a backyard build up. The plan for the car is just to make it handle and stop decent on an EXTREMELY tight budget. The goal is to keep it under $20k. Heres a link to the pictures. They are a little out of order but, hopefully you guys get the idea.

      Thanks

Thanks for the kind words fellas. Won't be working on it until I go back on leave again. Special thanks to Dave mc84 zz4 for all the car magazines and good stuff you mailed over. Staring at the Jegs magazine over there for soo long is probably responsible for where my deployment moneys going.haha
