I've got to say, the work was top notch, but I didn't like the build. Had to really REALLY respect the workmanship and fabrication (that nose piece was a work of art) but the styling was a little over the top. The machined aluminum cell cover was a little too "busy" for my taste.

Which car? The camaro in fabrication that was in Troys area at GG? Doesn't seem to me like mileage would matter. There's almost nothing left of an original F-body. Maybe nothing whatseover. Great fabrication!

`yeah the 3rd gen camaro. He says in the video the guy bought it new , drove it 300 or so miles and parked saving his cash to have Troy do work in the future. here is the video where they talk about it

Yeah, sort of. Sounded to me like the guy bought it, drove it 300 miles, then had somebody else start it and paint it. Troy mentions in the video that the car had been started and painted somewhere else, then he stripped it. To me it sounds a little crazy to cut up a 300 mile car if you're doing so much fabrication, but I guess they know what they're doing.

That whole story don't make any sense, since it is an 87 Camaro and Rad Rides by Troy only started in 1995. Troy does some really nice work, and I really like a lot of the cars he builds. But I think this car is just a little to over the top for me. I really don't like the tail lights from the new Camaro, so those just killed the car for me.

Maybe it's being built as a theme car for a movie, lol.

I don't know - the whole IMSA theme of the body was fine with me, and I think once it's in paint it's going to be even more impressive. That machined aluminum contraption in the back is what just didn't work for me.

I agree that I heard 2 different responses even at GG, though. People were either really impressed, or they hated it. There was little (maybe no) middle ground.
