      Any Hunters

I'm a big time Archery hunter and have never asked if any other members get out and hit the woods every year? I mainly Whitetail deer hunt here in the state of Ohio. This obcession has actually kept me from putting time and money into my 65

      hunters

Being from Kansas, I am not a deer hunter, although all my friends do, I don't have the attention span...I do pheasant and quail hunt. I love watching the dogs "hunt 'em up" or "find dead", something about a german shorthair pointer in a hard point on a bird. Can't wait until november!

I usually get the fever late summer. I try to shoot my bow every month though. I save two weeks vacation for deer bow season and a day or two for gun. I have enough $$ tied into my Mathews Reezen... I wouldn't mind building a back-up bow too.

      Archery hunting

I am an archery hunter here in Az. I will be taking two co-workers on a guided bull elk hunt in unit 10 this year for 14 days. I didn't get a tag this year(draw system). I have been there for the last two years with a friend who is a guide and video'd a huge bull over 400" last year. I have some video's on youtube from last year but I can't link them here from work so look up "Unit 10 Archery Elk 2009" and "Unit 10 Archery Elk 2009_2". When I took those videos I was doing the calling and the hunter was sitting right next to me. They weren't responding to the guide so I called them in. The hunter was a 63 year old gentleman that was in great shape. We were 4 miles from our truck. You will see the "big bull" in both videos but only for a few seconds at the end of one of the vids. I can't wait to be out there this September. We are trying a decoy that will be set out by me while I am calling to further distract the bulls and bring them past the shooter or shooters. Enjoy the vids. They aren't professional quality but it was fun making them.

That's sweet quite a few hunter

MartZ, I'm with ya I have about 1400 in my Reezen 6.5 and about the same in an all black Monster 7.

The reason I'm getting pumped is I pulled my sd card out of my trail cam and got a couple pics of a couple nice bucks.

Wow that back one looks like it will be a hog when his antlers harden up. I do some bowhunting with an older Oneida. I also enjoy waterfowl and upland birds. I particularly like to shoot crows and varmints although I don't get to do it very often. I used to love to rabbit hunt over dogs but is getting increasingly hard to find a good spot and more so someone with dogs. I swear I'm going to pop off a few of these squirrels in my yard this winter, they are overrun down here.

Be a hog when they harden, heck here in Ohio they still have a month or so to still grow

      Bambi Syndrome

I have a friend who went for three years without getting a dear when he first started trying to Bow Hunt, then on the way back from visiting his Wife’s Parents one jumped out in front of him totaling his pride and joy Ford F150 4X4. After that he suffered merciless teasing from the other guys about using the wrong Arrows, They said he should have been using FORD Arrows from the start.
