      New Guy, Colorado 70 challenger

i have a buddie on here he has a red white and blue amx and he told me about the site ,very cool site i have already watched the vid on ceramic temp coating and i probably will go get that product.
I have a 70 challenger,440 a/t,17 x 8 inch wheels, adjustable shocks, tubular upper a arms, car is lowered a bit, have a few other details but i also have a 70 barracuda that i am restoring and i now have upper and lower tubular control arms, and aluminum dynamic strut rods, these cars can be made to handle it just takes a little searching on the net, mags, etc, just putting urethayne bushings helps alot but i intend on making this cuda a good driver as well as have some good road manners too!

      Welcome Drew,
I've seen you over on Cuda-Challenger before. This is a great site. I saw your buddies AMX at the auto X in Loveland a few weeks ago; that thing is awesome! Your Challenger looks great also. I'm from Erie, Colorado (near Boulder) and am building a PT 71 Challenger in my garage right now.

Welcome. Beautiful car. If you need anything while you are at the 24 hrs of lemons let me know. I live about 15 miles from high plains race track. I'm going to try and get out and check out the race. I've wanted to check out one of these races since I first heard about them a couple years ago.

hey thanks, when i did this resto back in 1996 the purists made some negative remarks, but it has been mostly positive, the car was crusher and so i decided to make it custom as so many cars on this forum are custom creations my car seems to fit this site the best, i want to spend more time looking at this site man there is alot of info here

I hear ya. I'm Mopar thru and thru but the Mopar purists are a tough crowd when it comes to customs. My 71 Challenger I'm building was stripped of it's factory VIN tags, etc. years ago and only has a Colorado assigned VIN so I can have at it. 6.1 Hemi, mini-tubs, ditching the torsion bars (actually they aren't that bad if put together with the correct pieces) and full on PT build.
