      zz4 forged pistons

Does anyone know were I can find stock bore forged pistons for a zz4 short block. The engine has never been ran unless they break them in at the factory. The engine is a brand new block with no over bore. example 30 over. I don't think that the rods are forged they are powered metal. Whatever that means.

According to what I have read, the ZZ4 already has the good bottom end including forged pistons. They refer to these as "hypereutectic pistons" which refers to the alloy that they are forged out of. This would be a 4.00" bore and if you wanted to change to a different compression ratio, I would go with Mahle or JE pistons. Check out www.summit.com

SRP is a division of JE and have a large supply of off the shelf pistons in stock, we run a stock ZZ4 on our dyno that we use as a mule engine and have run the crap out of it with no problems.
