      zz430 clone

I have a brand new zz430 clone that is out of the engine bag and has been sitting on an engine stand for the last 2 years. I have taped over all of the openings 2 years ago. Will it be safe to start it? Has the engine been sitting to long to do so? Should the engine be taken apart because of moister?

I it was my engine I would go ahead and fire it up but since it's not my engine here's what I would do, pull the heads and rotate the engine to get two pistons to the bottom of theire bores, wipe those two bores with a clean cloth that has a light motor oil on it to clean off any surface rust that might have occoured, finish the rest of the bores the same way and re assemble the engine, if the engine had either Fel Pro or MLS head gaskets I would re use them as long as they look to be in good shape, use new intake gaskets and your finished.
