      Best termite treatment?

Went out back after a heavy rain and noticed termites climbing all over a rotting tree stump, so I think it might be a good idea to treat my house with some kinf repelent or something. What's a good treatment? If I can buy it at one of the do it yourself pest control places I will. Thanks!

used motor oil. you have some, it works, its essentially free, pest control people dont like to talk about it because it is effective and very low cost, most will tell you that it is illegal, my response is always 'what makes it worse than the stuff you use?' I dont get any solid answers on that one.

DDT works wonders too. Good luck finding any though.

The best method I've found was fire, they will NOT come back after that! Lol

on the used oil, do you just saturate the low wood or pour it on the foundation also?

I've heard of people using oil to stain a wood fence or wood siding. I don't think there's too much that would like the taste of oil!
